On our way home….

Our flight back home included a stop in Dublin, since that is where we originated from Minneapolis/St. Paul. I think when I booked these flights I thought it would be fun to explore a little more of Dublin, but to be honest we were both ready to head to the barn, as they say on the farm. . .

We did manage to secure our same room at the airport hotel, with the same comfy bed. We arrived around 4 p.m. and decided to just have a quiet dinner/night at the hotel. It was nice.

Our day in Dublin consisted of a walk around Trinity College, St. Stephens Park and couple of stops at the pubs for a Guinness. Paul tried an O’Hara and that was yummy too.

Our flight the next day was a little late, but there were no issues getting our carry-on luggage on the plane. We were happy about that as it would make for a quicker exit when we land.

Our brother-in-law and the person who helped make this year possible for us, Duane, once again picked us up and delivered us home. Luckily we had some chili in the freezer, so we ate and were asleep by 9:30 p.m.!

Tomorrow we both get much needed haircuts, and then we start looking at what we missed in the last 6-7 weeks of mail. But it’s nice to be home!

[Still finishing up the photos!]
